The different types of Golf and American Golf

I still remember the professor explained that the sport could reflect different culture of different countries on my first course in the university.For example,the Europeans advocate freedom and hate the binding,so the movement originated in Europe,such as soccer and golf do not have strict time limits,space restrictions or limits.What's more,the length and the width of different soccer field are different,even needless to mention golf courses.In addition,the sentence of the European soccer match is more lenient,even pushing betwen the two sides of players, does not affect the rhythm of events and magistrates will also pretend to be blind;the game of golf or even without umpire,it all depends on the player's personal integrity.

In contrast,the movements originated in the United States, have more stringent standards.For example,basketball and American football,in the event, every minute must be calculated and tenth of a second is the key to victory.In addition, the venue also is painted over the line, 3-point line on the basketball court and every 5 yards of a sub-yard line on a football field do not allow the slightest deviation.The referee should watch closely on the players with the golden eyes.Does it reflect the American people to do things more serious and persistent?

The golf in British and American develop so far,the golf course designs are different because of their different cultural and emphasis.United States court is beauty and emphasis on artificial modification;British court respects for nature and retains the original look rough.So every year,the U.S. media has criticized the British Open from time to time,such as shoter of the total length, mediocrity and lack of changes of design,etc.has attracted a lot of arguments between the fans.

I remember years ago,in orde to hold an interview on England's high court,I stayed in a small town hotel.There,the guests from around the world,nine out of ten came to play golf were talking about golf on evey morning.Scots counting on they were born in the birthplace of golf always looked down on the U.S. courts.When they ran into visitors from the United States,they casually said: "There are only two kinds of golf in the world-Golf and American Gol.You can play American golf in the U.S.But if you want to really experience the Golf,you must come to Europe."

Among the four golf majors,the British Open is glorified as "The Open Championship" by the world which is metaphorical for the world's only golf Open.However, the U.S. media has nicknamed the British Open as the "British Open Championship",enph the the English name on "British (UK)".The Europeans see it as disrespect,the wars of the words between them are endless.
